I read somewhere, a long time ago, that when science becomes so beyond public comprehension it becomes indistinguishable from magic. It seems to me that today, we are living in just such a world because a lot of the things we use daily are so beyond our understanding of how they work that they are really magical things, just like the flying carpet in my drawing.
Science and technology are advancing at so rapid a rate that in the foreseeable future the making of a flying carpet will probably become a reality. Don't scoff, what man can imagine, man can do, it just takes a little time.-
