Looking at the geese flying across the moonlit sky in this drawing reminds me of the famous wildlife artist, John J. Audubon (1785 - 1851) who painted many species of birds. I read somewhere that he shot as many as 100 birds in a single day to use them as models for his paintings.
I have always felt that killing any kind of wildlife for "sport" was wrong. Though Audubon was not Killing all those birds for the sport of it, it still bothers me that he had to kill them.
I suppose that Audubon's work can be linked with that of scientists who use animals for experimental purposes. I guess it's up to you to decide whether it's all justified for the sake of advancing mankind's knowledge.
