In 1965, when I was 35 years old I decided to learn how to paint. There was a lot to learn about "color," and the first thing I learned was; "when the source of light in your painting is the sky, the colors in your sky must be reflected on the objects you are painting because it is those sky colors that are revealing everything in your picture". If you look closely at my painting you will see where I applied those lessons.
